Today was exciting as this morning we were jumping on the train and heading for Barcelona!! It was a shame to leave Valencia though, as we just getting used to the beach style….but after a last spot of shopping at the markets, it was off to the hustle and bustle of the big smoke…I can hear the 1994 Olympic theme tune already!
On arrival in Barcelona we found our hostel just one block from the Las Ramblas (the main street of the city packed full of shops, markets and street performers!) We were very surprised with the hostel as it was amazing… Awesome bed and room with ensuite and full kitchen facilities!! We thought hostels had to be old and dingy!!
We decided to head out in the early evening and check out the city… starting with an ice cream!! We then stumbled upon a Travellers Bar in some of the side streets advertising 1euro meals…as you can guess this meal was awful and a complete waste of time!
We then went home as Jax was starting to lose her voice…that’s right… Jax got sick again!! Done worry by the time you read this she will be fine so no need in sending her a get well card!!
