Our first full day in Barcelona!! This morning was kicked off with Jax now famous Eggs on toast, I’m sure everyone else in the hostel is jealous!!
This morning we decided on doing a free walking tour of the Gothic Quarter of the city! It was shit. The only good part of the tour were the sites, we got our bearings and we got a free beer at the end! The tour guide was some German girl who had no personality whatsoever!! We were glad to see the back of her, but did get a voucher for a bike tour of the city…more on that tommorrow!!
We then headed to the markets to get some lunch like some fresh fruit and some dinner from a store called Organic Orgasmic!! Later we headed home to have siesta, then after our sleep we got up to discover the Port of Barcelona which was huge and all built when the Olympics were held here in 94. It was a full on day of walking and eating so after a walk down the Ramblas and some dinner and ice cream we called it a night.
