It was finally our time to head to Italy to the fashion capital of the world!! We headed to the station early as Jordan felt as though our good luck with trains was going to run out. We arrived at the station to find our train cancelled!!
After speaking to 3 different members of staff we finally worked out that only a section of the train was cancelled, it just happend to be the section getting us out of France!! So we had to quickly buy a train ticket to connect us to our train in Italy!!
Italians are pushy…especially old ladies. Jax found this out the hard way when an old lady started hitting her on the arm to get off the train first (even though Jax had a massive backpack and other peoples suitcases making a wall in front of her!!). A small arguement erupted which ended in us watching the old bat run down the platform with Jordan yelling ‘You better run…’ after her!!
We made our connection and got into Milan…where we were greeted by family!! Its nice to have someone waiting for you at the station!! Tonight we had planned to meet up with Uncle Grant and Aunty Dianne who were just finising there European Trip!!
After checking into our hostel and had a freshen up we headed into to the city centre for dinner with Jordan’s Uncle and Aunty, before having a late night walk around this bustling city!! We didnt stay out late though as we had a date with the ‘Last Supper’ in the morning…or so we though…
