Our last in Milan and one thing to do…shop till we drop!! You’d think it would be expensive in the fashion capital of the world…but lucky Milan was in sale mode and we were able to pick up some bargins including some board shorts, a t-shirt and a singlet for Jordan and Jax walked away with a bikini and a dress. We spent a total of 35euro!!
Soon it all had to come to an end and we jumped on the train and headed for the city of Florence!! Train journeys are now becoming times to play our mammoth card games complete with theme songs and new rules!!
Our first impressions…wow!! We arrived in the early evening and after checking into our hostel, met a local who told us the hotspots of the city!! We followed his suggestion of a local Pizza place for dinner where we could watch our pizza cook in a traditional wood fire pizza oven!! It was delcious!! After then checking out the sunset over the rivers and bridges we panicked…we knew already we hadn’t planned to have enough time here!!
We headed back to our room and went to bed…tommorrow we had a date with David…
