Sundays a Ghost Town!

A tip..when in Athens dont plan to do anything on Sundays. NOTHING was open…no shops, supermarkets, but only overpriced tacky tourist resturants!!

This morning we did join a quick walking tour of the city to check out some of the main sites – but decided not to go inside as we had plently of time to check them out next week. We did though check out the Greece version of the Changing of the Guards outside Parliment before once again checking out the Flea Market which was bustling today!!

The flea market is certainly an eye opener! If your looking for Porn, Snakes or to gamble then your in the right place as this is what dominated the markets!! Jax was more interested in the hundreds of sandals stores around the city, and Jordan more into the porn…I mean snakes.

That evening we joined up with some fellow travellers on our tour and headed to a local resturant for a Greek Dinner. YUM!! Had fantastic chicken, and all you can drink wine! A highlight had to be the local dancers entertaining us all night.

Before long we had to sober up quickly, grab our bags and head to the port to catch our first ferry to the island of Paros. Unlike our last ferry ride, we had a cabin…
