Our last morning in Paros…sad but also exciting as today we were off to the world famous Mykonos island!! The morning began as we boarded a Superjet boat to the island. Of course the ferry was late, but we beginning to expect this from Greek Ferry providers!!
We arrived in Mykonos at about 4:00pm, and after the quick transfer to our hotel (another 3 star!!) we headed straight to the beach/pool to cool off!!
Later that night we joined some others and caught the bus into Mykonos town to walk the streets (once again white with white houses!!). We had plently of time to wander as the shops didnt close until 1:30am each morning!! Crazy Greeks!!
The town was cool, complete with windmills, which is what Mykonos is famous for!! That night we had dinner at a awful local resturant (we didnt know that at the time) complete with Gypsie kids harrassing us with there exetremly explicit version of songs…funny ..but dont laugh too much as then they want your money!! We were feeling full of energy this evening so went to one of the bars in Mykonos – complete with free shots and dancing. This idea backfired as we soon got lost in the town centre unable to get home…opps!!
We did make it home though, and very much ready for bed!!
