Last night we got into our hotel (3 star!!) at 1:00am so hit the sack (after watching the Olympics of course!!) We were due back in our hostel today so made the most of the 12:00pm check out time and slept in, showered and lived like kings (in our 3 star!!)
Later that day we had to move out, and headed back to our crummy hostel…such a downgrade!! The only upside was Jax had fallen in love with the kittens living at the hostel…every cloud has its silver lining!!
That afternoon we thought we had more energy than what we did have, and hiked up the highest hill in Athens out of 8 of them!! The view was awesome!! 360 degrees of city. Jordan was gutted though as no sign of the Olympic Stadium was spotted as it was THAT far out of town! We ate some lunch up there that we had packed to get some energy for the hike down.
Jordan brought a book. The last time he read was for a 7th Form English assignment of ‘Death of a Salesman’. We wont go into detail but Mum and Dad should be very proud!!
Later that day we realaxed and played with the kittens before heading to bed.
