Man this hostel is terrible!! Not a wink of sleep!! The bed is hard and creaky, the heat of Athens is insane without air-con (well there was air-con but “its getting fixed”), the showers right next to our room and the bell at the front of the hostel ringing all night. You can tell we LOVED this hostel!! Bring back out 3 star!!
We began the day by visiting the Acropolis at the top of Athens and was built in the 5th century BC! The main part of it was the Pantheon completed in 438 BC. Old eh!! This was amazing!!
We stopped at the supermarket for some lunch before heading back to check out the porn…I mean snakes…in the town markets. Next stop was the Ancient Agora (ancient town) which turned out to be a pile of rocks (we were tired by this point!!) It did have an interesting museum though…
We continued through the Plaka markets, stopping at EVERY leather sandal store for Jax, before checking out the Temple of Olympian Zeus!! This was awesome and very well restored. There was an awesome selection of colums, with only one that had fallen over.
We then had some dinner before checking out the sandal stores AGAIN. We didnt find any sandals but did find a Pandora Braclet store, where Jordan bought Jax some charms for her barclet. Shes so lucky!!
