This morning was like all the others! Waking to the boat moving through the water and filling up on a MASSIVE breakfast cooked from the crew. Today we were heading down the coast to Dubrovnik. After swimming and drinking the morning away on the boat – we finally made it to the city.
That afternoon we took in the sights of the ‘Stradun’ or the city within the massive walls that surround it! We walked along the top of the walls which gave great veiws of both the city inside and the cliffs and oceans surrounding it! The walls itself are a empressive 1,940m long – so the afternoon was well and truely over when we arrived back at the boat!
That evening was Birthday night! Two of the boys onboard were celebrating their birthdays at the same time – which meant party time! The night began as it always does with drinking games onboard the boat – followed by nasty Grappa shots which the crew had delight in giving us free! We headed to a local resturant to continue the evening and fill our stomachs! Before too long Tequila was added to the meal!
We headed in the city to continue the party – heading to a couple of bars….before the group decided a Latino Bar was the way to finish the night. We did not agree – and a bunch of use returned to the boat to finish the night Croatian stlye…drinking and sleeping…
For some reason the boat seemed more rocky tonight….
