Another day at school and more exams – today English and Maths. The morning begun with the daily assembly – and as its Monday the – we also raised the flag to signal the start of the week. Soon we were handing out papers to the kids – and leaving them to complete the tests by themselves – while we marked the unmarked papers for the complete day at school!
The days usually end at about 5:00pm – when we travel home to take part in the chores for the evening – a favourite has to be getting the firewood for the kitchen as Jordan gets to chop at the trees then watches Jax carry it back on her head – what a holiday!!!
The nights are always spent in the kitchen – with no T.V’s this is the best entertainment as we join the family on small benches in the dark, crampt kitchen surrounding a warm fire watching the ladies at work. The best part is eating Chapiti this is certainly our favorite!!! We then soon grab our torches and fumble our way to bed. Nite nite!
